I rarely review products or services online, but this time I feel it's important I do, as it may help other people that may find themselves in a similar situation. I have had this problem with my Subaru Outback for a long time, about 4-5 months after I bought it. A hesitation, usually on take off, not brutal but not pleasant. Went to several shops a few years back, nobody could figure it out. Local dealer took it for a spin and said it runs fine. Somehow it acted up less for several years, but this year(2025) it became unbearable, it would shake quite badly at times and became kind of dangerous to drive. Most mechanics I have talked to wouldn't even look at it, based on symptoms description. One shop took it in, replaced the ECU and made the problem way worse. Luckily Automotive Edge had agreed to look into it and Matt had pledged right at the beginning that no car leaves their shop unfixed. Well, they kept their word and got it fixed and kept the bill reasonable. I really appreciate Matt's efforts and I'm happy I've found the shop I could rely on! Front desk ladies were also very helpful and quick in addressing any issues. Great overall experience and excellent quality of work!

Mat, Becky and the rest of the staff, we want the thank you for such a great experience we had on our recent repairs on our tesla. They were very informative on the repairs that need to be done with detailed videos of service tech while diagnosing for repairs needed. They were in constant communication with regards to the estimate pricing and availability to finish repairs while giving me a curtiss vehicle for a week week while our car was in the shop. I had an exceptional experience at Automotive Edge in Kitchener, Ontario. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond. I dropped off my 2015 Lincoln MKX on a Friday after being told by another garage that parts were not available and OEM was back ordered. To my surprise, by Monday I received a detailed inspection report and a video clearly explaining the issues with my vehicle. The team not only told me it could be fixed, but also provided a clear estimate. I was honestly speechless and incredibly relieved. My wife and I hadn’t driven the car for over a month because it was unsafe, and in the meantime we were renting a vehicle and reluctantly shopping for a new one. Automotive Edge completely turned the situation around. They brought our Lincoln back to life, and it now runs beautifully. I had an oil change done at a local garage. They had me running back and forth for 2 weeks. My car completely emptied of oil in my garage. I took it to AE...they were professional from minute one and completely transparent They had to contact the first garage to notify they had caused the damage. I confronted the garage and they agreed to pay. The person from the first business that damaged the car did not show up to pay the bill as agreed. The staff at front desk had to call several times over 2days to try to get him in to pay my bill so car could be released. They kept me updated from the first contact with them. Through diagnosis..repair..having to contact the other garage numerous times...and supporting me thru the stress of this entire situation. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough . Fantastic transparent service. Bravo

My truck has had some issues lately and our previous (now) garage gave up on it after 3 months. AE fixed it in less than a day! I recently broke my wrist and the truck sat again. My husband said there’s a current draw that killed the battery. After getting a new battery, we had AE look for the problem. They found it hidden behind the radio! The truck had a previous locator installed there and it was defective. All is well now with this removed and I thank the brilliant crew at Automotive Edge!

I do most of my own maintenance work on my vehicles having worked in the industry nearly 50 years. We discovered a serious safety issue with my car while my son and I were swapping winter to summer wheels at home. Despite being fully booked, Crystal said they'd try to accommodate repair next day if I brought the car in. By 11am I had a very reasonable estimate and by 3pm the car was ready for pick up. Truly awesome service.

Renovations in 2024 added a nice waiting room. Could use blinds because the sun makes the tv almost impossible to view. Great and friendly staff. Same for the owner. Loaner vehicles are available complete with winter tires for winter months

Had numerous issues with my 2012 hyundai elantra and after one shop found the main harness completely corroded Greg from automotive edge suggested I bring it in. Greg was excited to take on the task and during the process the shop kept me updated with daily (sometimes multiple updates a day) calls. I have been looking for an alternative to taking my 12 year old vehicle to the dealership or some random garage and heard many ads on 570 news but waited until today to finally stop in. Krystle fully explained the diagnostic process and knew which questions to ask regarding the mechanical problem. I hadn't planned on leaving my car there but they encouraged me to do so for the inspection and even gave me a Mercedes as loaner to use to get me home and to work in the morning. Both she and her colleague made me feel welcome and answered many of the questions I had. I can't wait to see the diagnosis and recommended repairs and feel confident that they will offer several options that are best suited to my needs and budget and expertly fix the problem. Picked up my car today (September 27) and all the work was done as requested without any additional sales pressure or unexpected expenses and as quoted. Nearly $800 for service and a few other items still seems like a major expense but you cannot put a price on safety and I now longer have to listen to the awful scrapping noise and I have the use of my emergency brake again!

Once they got into the vehicle they realized that the issue was different that originally diagnosed. Ended up saving a significant amount of money than originally quoted, which is always nice. I can't say enough about this place, the owner Matt, and his great staff. I was looking to purchase a car in Cambridge and, as I am from out of town, needed to find a good, local mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. Matt's shop came highly recommended. Unfortunately, with travel time, they would have needed the car for longer than the seller was willing to part with it. I dealt with both Becky and Krystle over the phone who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They truly wanted to help me out. I was back and forth calling between the dealership and Becky and Krystle and they were really committing to helping me figure out how to get this car inspected. More so than the dealer that was trying to sell me the car. Matt went above and beyond for me by going to see the car at the dealer's go-to shop, driving 30 minutes out of his way. Remember, I don't live locally and so he was doing this despite knowing he may never have my business again. Having said all that, I can't recommend this shop enough. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic who goes above and beyond to make his customers happy, this is the place. Well done, Becky, Krystle and Matt. You are an impressive team.
